Role Description The Application Support (CPA) role is a contract, on-site position based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. This role involves providing daily application support for finance and accounting systems, including resolving user issues, troubleshooting system errors, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The individual will collaborate with finance and accounting teams to interpret financial data, assist with tax-related processes, and support the preparation and review of financial statements using relevant applications. Responsibilities include documenting support activities, escalating complex technical or functional issues, assisting in system updates or enhancements, and ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. The role also requires clear communication with stakeholders, training end users on system functionalities, and contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Provide first- and second-level support for business-critical applications within an air-gapped network

• Identify and triage application issues (service outages, slow performance, error messages, login/access problems) and route to the appropriate team for resolution

• Monitor application and platform health using on-premises/local monitoring tools; escalate anomalies per incident procedures

• Perform basic operational tasks (service restarts, log checks, resource checks) as part of first-line support

• Support secure, approved methods for transferring code releases, patches, and logs across the air gap (e.g., approved removable media, data diodes, transfer stations), following chain-of-custody procedures.
