Job Summary
Support the Product Engineer in setup, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of in-vehicle systems and equipment to ensure high-quality performance and timely service.
Responsibilities
- Assist Product Engineer in setting up, integrating, and testing various in-vehicle systems to support product development
- Document detailed test procedures, data observations, and results to ensure accurate records for prototype and production testing
- Plan and conduct assembly of components for prototype tools and tests, acquiring proficiency in assembly tools and techniques
- Document setup and installation procedures to standardize processes and support team knowledge sharing
- Perform vehicle equipment testing and setup tasks following established test procedures, work instructions, and flow charts
- Assist in troubleshooting vehicle equipment issues to identify root causes and support timely resolution
- Carry out maintenance and overhaul work on in-vehicle equipment, ensuring workmanship quality and minimizing turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections
- Notify Team Leader of complex repair issues requiring major repairs or replacement parts, recommending appropriate actions
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and maintain orderliness in the work environment to ensure a safe workplace
- Complete detailed work orders for each vehicle and unit serviced to maintain accurate service records
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python to support testing and troubleshooting activities
- Experience in electronic repair work to enhance maintenance and troubleshooting effectiveness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear team interaction and accurate documentation
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Positive learning attitude with eagerness to acquire technical knowledge and skills
Required competencies and certifications
- At least Nitec certification in Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant work experience.
