Job Summary

Lead construction operations by planning work sequences, coordinating with stakeholders, supervising site activities, and supporting project costing and progress reporting to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule construction work sequences to optimize project execution
• Analyze tender and construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to clarify project requirements
• Coordinate site activities by liaising with consultants, clients, main and sub-contractors to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
• Conduct site inspections to verify work aligns with project specifications and approved drawings from authorities
• Lead and manage a team of supervisors and foremen to coordinate work progress and resolve technical issues with contractors, authorities, and consultants
• Assist in preparing method statements and construction sequences to guide project implementation
• Support the Project Manager in project costing, preparing monthly progress claims, and compiling progress reports
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to verify progress payments and claims accurately
• Coordinate the handover of completed works to clients and oversee necessary rectification works to meet quality standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (explicitly stated as required)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in construction or related field (explicitly stated as required)
