Student Support Officer | North

We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to support student development, promote positive behaviour, and help maintain a safe and conducive learning environment within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during detention and reflective learning sessions.
• Assist in student incident management, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Support the planning and execution of school events and student programmes.
• Build positive relationships with students while maintaining firm and professional boundaries.
• Conduct school walkabouts and area supervision to monitor student behaviour.
• Provide administrative and operational support as required by the school.

Requirements

• Diploma or prior experience in relevant field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
• Experience or strong interest in youth engagement, student management, or education settings.
• Prior experience working with children or youths is advantageous.
• Able to commit to school-based work hours, ie. 7am to 4pm.
