Job Description:

• Perform repair and rework of PCB/PCBA according to work instructions and quality requirements.
• Repair soldering defects such as insufficient solder, solder bridges, missing components, wrong components, and component misalignment.
• Perform manual soldering and desoldering of SMT and through-hole components when required.
• Replace defective components according to approved procedures and specifications.
• Use soldering iron, hot air/rework station, microscope, and other repair tools correctly and safely.
• Inspect repaired PCB/PCBA to ensure workmanship meets required quality standards.
• Follow IPC/workmanship standards and customer requirements where applicable.
• Identify defects and report recurring or abnormal issues to SMT Leader, Technician, Engineer, or QA.
• Ensure correct component part number, polarity, orientation, and location before repair.
• Follow ESD control, PPE, safety, and cleanroom/production requirements.
• Maintain proper records of repair/rework activities when required.
• Keep repair workstation, tools, and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Minimize component damage, PCB damage, scrap, and unnecessary rework.
• Support production output and overtime when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements :

• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in PCB/PCBA soldering, repair, or SMT production is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly.
• Able to perform fine soldering/rework work with good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to identify component polarity and common SMT defects.
• Familiarity with microscope and rework equipment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of ESD and quality requirements.
• Responsible, careful, quality-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required
