Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong network and experience dealing with travel agents and tour operators.
  • Mandarin-speaking is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking travel agents and business partners.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales.
  • Strong network within corporate and event planning industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage event sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event quotations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase event spaces and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to stay competitive.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed event booking and sponsorship targets.
  • Structuring competitive packages, negotiating pricing, and closing deals while protecting company's profit margins.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate accounts and business partners.
  • Generate room and hotel business through new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client visits and account servicing.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support achievement of hotel revenue targets.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations and corporate/travel agent agreements.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Reservations and Operations teams to maximize business opportunities.
  • Participate in sales activities, networking events, trade shows and client entertainment when required.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time, based on operational and business requirements.
