The Technical Officer supports the planning, setup, operation, and maintenance of simulation training equipment, systems, and facilities within SIMTAC. The role involves providing technical support for simulation-based training programmes, managing simulation technologies, troubleshooting system issues, maintaining records and documentation, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective training operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the setup and operation of simulation equipment and training environments for healthcare education programmes.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation systems, medical devices, and related software.
• Provide technical support during training sessions, including simulation and debriefing activities.
• Collaborate with IT and Audio-Visual teams to optimize simulation and training systems.
• Maintain training records, equipment inventory, and operational documentation.
• Support process improvements, data management, and departmental projects.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with healthcare simulation or AV systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask and work independently.
