Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects from mobilisation through installation, testing, commissioning, handover and defect rectification.
- Review contract requirements, specifications, approved drawings, BOQ and construction programmes.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, material schedules, procurement trackers, progress reports and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant project stakeholders.
- Lead site supervisors, foremen and workers, allocate resources and monitor daily progress, productivity and workmanship.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, technical submissions, material submissions, RFIs, inspection requests and as-built drawings.
- Monitor project costs, material usage, subcontractor performance, progress claims, variation works and potential commercial risks.
- Ensure materials and equipment are ordered accurately and delivered according to the project schedule.
- Conduct and attend progress, technical and coordination meetings, and follow up on all agreed actions.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable Singapore standards, authority requirements and project quality procedures.
- Work closely with the safety team to ensure compliance with risk assessments, safe work procedures, permit-to-work requirements and site safety regulations.
- Manage testing and commissioning, inspections, outstanding works, defects and final project handover documentation.
