If you are passionate about building resilient, secure and scalable digital infrastructure, we are looking for an Operations Engineer to join SGTraDex Technologies Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of IMDA.
What the role is:
DEX is Singapore’s trusted data-exchange digital utility - powering secure and interoperable data flows across key sectors such as Supply Chain & Logistics (SGTraDex), BuiltEnvironment (SGBuildex), Healthcare (SGHealthdex), and more to come.
As an Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling the successful operation and adoption of DEX platforms by supporting API integrations, testing activities, partner onboarding, and production services. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, continuously improve processes, and leverage modern technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance productivity and service delivery.
What you will be working on[SM1] :
• Manage and support API-based integrations between DEX platforms and ecosystem partners, ensuring secure, reliable, and seamless data exchange.
• Coordinate end-to-end partner onboarding, including API Integration, connectivity validation, System Integration Testing(SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production readiness, and release activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, external partners, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and DevOps teams to validate requirements, define test scenarios, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Analyse API transactions, application logs, and system metrics to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution.
• Lead and coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities, including triage, impact assessment, stakeholder communications, escalation, service restoration, and deployment support.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including test plans, runbooks, API support guides, incident reports, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Drive continuous service improvement by analysing operational trends, recurring issues, testing effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback, leveraging automation and AI-powered tools where appropriate to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational controls in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 and organisational standards.
• Participate in on-call support and respond to critical production incidents outside of business hours when required.
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Operations Engineer with strong experience in API integrations, SIT/UAT coordination, production support, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting capabilities, strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset, including the ability to leverage modern AI-powered tools to enhance operational effectiveness, testing quality, and delivery outcomes.
