Our client is a Fortune 500 multinational organization and a global leader in its industry. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Accountant .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, company policies, and statutory requirements.

• Prepare financial reports and schedules to support management reporting and decision-making.

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and reporting obligations.

• Oversee tax-related matters, including GST filings and other regulatory submissions.

• Support intercompany accounting activities, procurement processes, and fixed asset management.

• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial controls, policies, and procedures.

• Lead or participate in process improvement and transformation projects to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

• Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or full-set accounting.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GST regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.

• Experience handling statutory audits and liaising independently with external auditors and tax authorities.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.

• Prior experience with a Big 4 accounting firm will be an added advantage.
