Full Time AI Solution Architect Jobs, salary up to SGD 1 in PANASONIC R&D CENTER SINGAPORE Bedok - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI solutions across manufacturing, smart infrastructure, robotics, visual inspection, IoT, and enterprise digital transformation domains.

The successful candidate will bridge cutting-edge AI research and real-world commercialization by architecting scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems deployed across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments.

This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder management capability to work closely with researchers, software engineers, business teams, customers, and external partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support a diverse portfolio of AI and digital transformation projects, including knowledge management, intelligent automation, computer vision, IoT, and enterprise platforms. The role combines solution architecture, hands-on technical guidance, customer engagement, and collaboration with internal and external delivery teams.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Computer Vision, Physical AI, and IoT systems.

• Design scalable cloud-native and edge AI platforms for commercial deployment.

• Define system architecture, technical roadmaps, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.

• Develop reference architectures, technical standards, and best practices.

AI & Platform Development

• Architect AI-driven applications using Large Language Models, Vision Language Models, multi-modal AI systems, Computer Vision, video analytics, Agentic AI frameworks, and Physical AI/ Robotics systems.

• Drive AI platform engineering, model deployment, ML Ops, and lifecycle management.

Cloud & Enterprise Systems

• Design and implement solutions on Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments, with the ability to evaluate suitable cloud, edge, and enterprise deployment options based on project requirements.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and infrastructure automation.

• Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and performance.

• Plan and support production operations, including preventive maintenance, issue investigation, service improvement, system enhancement, and support for deployed AI and enterprise platforms.

Commercialization & Business Enablement

• Transform R&D prototypes into production-ready solutions.

• Support customer engagements, solution proposals, and technical presentations.

• Experience supporting tenders, proposals, technical interviews, clarification responses, customer demonstrations, and solution positioning.

• Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities and support project acquisition.

• Engage customers in technical discussions and solution workshops.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor software engineers and project teams.

• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and technical decision-making.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across AI, software, cloud, infrastructure, and business domains.

• Coordinate with external vendors, outsourced development teams, technology partners, and regional stakeholders to deliver solutions from prototype through production deployment.

• Promote engineering excellence and innovation culture within the organization.
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or related disciplines.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI solution development, or system architecture. Young talent with proven track records may also be considered.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise or commercial solutions.

• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional projects.
  

TECHNICAL SKILLS

AI & Data

Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, VLMs, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, image analytics, ML Ops, AI model deployment, data engineering, and data pipeline design.

Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps practices, APIs, and microservices architecture.

Software Development

Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java / C#, RESTful APIs, and enterprise application architecture.

Enterprise & Integration

System integration architecture, security architecture, cybersecurity best practices, identity and access management, and scalable distributed systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Smart Manufacturing, Smart Buildings, Robotics& Physical AI, Autonomous Systems, Industrial IoT or Infrastructure Inspection.

• Experience developing AI platforms or enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Knowledge of RAG, AI Agents, Knowledge Graphs, and Multi-Agent Systems.

• Familiarity with edge AI acceleration platforms and embedded AI deployment.

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, AI, or solution architecture.
