Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Executive to manage full accounting functions and support financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting within our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger, to maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain and monitor subsidiary accounts to ensure data integrity and completeness
• Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations
• Assist in corporate tax computation and manage tax-related documentation and processes
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports to support business planning
• Monitor and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy and control
• Prepare export documentation, including Letter of Credit (L/C) documents, for bank negotiation
• Process bank transactions such as Telegraphic Transfers (T/T), Documents against Payment (D/P), and L/C documentation efficiently and accurately
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities to facilitate audits and compliance
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities to meet reporting deadlines
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, LCCI, or equivalent qualification in Accountancy or Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to handle full sets of accounts independently
• Knowledge of GST and corporate tax requirements in Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with Netiquette accounting software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Availability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period
