Data Centre Cost Management Team – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking an experienced Cost Management team to support major data centre projects in Kuala Lumpur.

Roles Required

• CSA Cost Manager
• MEP Cost Manager
• Utilities Cost Manager
• Cost Engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, estimating, tendering, procurement, and commercial reporting for data centre developments.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, change management, and final accounts.
• Prepare and review BOQs, tender documentation, bid analysis, and cost reports.
• Work closely with clients, design teams, contractors, and specialist vendors.
• Ensure commercial risks, programme impacts, and opportunities are identified and managed.
• Support delivery across CSA, MEP, and utilities packages, including critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Based in Malaysia and able to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Proven data centre project experience is essential.
• Relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, commercial management, or project controls.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, cost reporting, and change control.
• Experience with CSA, MEP, utility infrastructure, or mission-critical project packages, depending on role.
• Professional qualification or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
