Avant Aegis is looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator (MEP) to join our BIM team at our headquarters in Subang Jaya.

We are seeking someone with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience, including hands-on MEP BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination—a professional who has progressed beyond producing models and understands the technical coordination required to bring multiple building disciplines together.

You will coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and related building services with architectural, structural and other disciplines. You will be expected to identify coordination issues, understand their technical implications, communicate them clearly and work with project stakeholders towards practical resolution.

We prioritise demonstrated technical BIM competency, genuine coordination experience and relevant project experience over academic qualification alone.

What You'll Do

• Develop, review and coordinate MEP models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Coordinate building services across architecture, structure and other disciplines.
• Perform model federation, clash detection, clash review and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Identify and manage spatial conflicts, access and clearance requirements, constructability concerns and coordination risks.
• Review models for quality, accuracy and compliance with project BIM requirements.
• Manage coordination issues from identification through resolution and closure.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and review coordinated models, drawings, schedules and BIM deliverables.
• Support model audits, QA/QC, shared-coordinate management and project submissions.
• Implement BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements, project standards and established BIM workflows.
• Work closely with BIM Managers, BIM Leads and multidisciplinary project teams.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in BIM and AEC project delivery, including practical MEP BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong hands-on competency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating MEP and related building services with architecture and structure.
• Good technical understanding of MEP systems, spatial requirements, access and clearance requirements, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Ability to interpret MEP, architectural and structural drawings and models.
• Ability to independently identify coordination issues and work with relevant parties towards practical resolution.
• Experience communicating technical issues in coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Good understanding of BIM model QA/QC, model organisation, shared coordinates and project BIM standards.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site at our Subang Jaya headquarters.

A Diploma, Degree, Certificate or other recognised technical qualification in a relevant engineering, building services, construction, built-environment, BIM or architectural discipline is advantageous, but not a strict degree requirement. Candidates with strong technical or vocational backgrounds and substantial relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

This is an experienced position and is not open to fresh graduates.

We'd Especially Like to Meet You If You Have

• Experience with data centres or other highly coordinated MEP environments.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, infrastructure, high-rise or other technically complex projects.
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM Collaborate Pro experience.
• Experience with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Experience across design coordination, construction or fabrication, and as-built BIM stages.
• Experience with Dynamo, Revit automation or other BIM productivity tools.
