We are on the lookout for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer for one of our global clients to be based in Singapore.

Role :
As a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer, you will support the delivery of sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions across a range of projects. Your role will involve contributing to civil and structural design, analysis, and construction support works throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning, through design development, to site and construction-stage support.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with internal specialists and external stakeholders to help deliver high-quality outcomes on major rail and transport infrastructure projects in Singapore and the SEA region.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience, with substantial involvement in MRT, railway, energy, aviation or major transportation infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Proven track record in the design and delivery of major underground structures, such as MRT stations, cut-and-cover tunnels, shafts, and ancillary underground facilities, from concept through detailed design and construction stages.
- Demonstrated strong structural design capability, with sound engineering judgement, technical leadership, and the ability to resolve complex engineering challenges independently.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ROBOT, SAFE, or equivalent finite element tools), with the ability to review and validate analytical models prepared by team members.
- Good working knowledge of Singapore structural design codes and Land Transport Authority (LTA) requirements, including experience in managing authority submissions and addressing technical comments through to approval.
- Proven ability to lead and manage structural design teams, including planning, assigning, and reviewing work to ensure timely and quality delivery of design packages.
- Strong experience in coordinating structural interfaces with architectural, geotechnical, civil, and MEP disciplines across multi-disciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated experience in guiding, mentoring, and developing junior engineers and drafters, including technical review of calculations and drawings, instilling good engineering practices, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Capable of taking ownership of structural work packages, managing deliverables, programme commitments, and technical risks with minimal supervision.

- Working with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision (applicable for those who have more than 5 years of experience).
- Co-ordinating work with Architects and Engineers of other disciplines.
- To assist with additional duties as requested.
