The right person will be a critical field representative, ensuring our automated dosing equipment and chemical systems run smoothly at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and calibrate chemical dosing pumps, manifolds, injectors, and control units at industrial laundry client sites.
- Conduct routine service checks, routine pump tube replacements, valve cleaning, and system calibration to maintain accurate chemical dosing and avoid downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, fluid leaks, pressure issues, and basic electrical failures in dosing pumps, tubing networks, and laundry chemical injection systems.
- Perform water flow, pressure, and dosing accuracy tests; adjust dilution rates and pump timings according to chemical wash programs.
- Assist laundry operations staff with proper system usage, safety procedures, and basic operational troubleshooting.
- Complete digital or paper service reports, parts usage tracking, and maintenance logs accurately after each site visit.
- Keep field service vehicles, spare parts inventory (pumps, fittings, tubing, valves), and specialized tools organized and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Strong practical mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment.
- Prior experience servicing mechanical systems, fluid handling systems, diaphragm/peristaltic pumps, pneumatic valves, or plumbing in industrial/commercial environments. Experience with industrial laundry or chemical dosing systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to read basic mechanical layouts, fluid flow schematics, and simple wiring diagrams.
- Logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting mechanical and fluid dynamics issues under operational pressures.
- Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel daily to client sites within the region.
- Comfortable working in industrial laundry environments (which can be warm/humid) and handling equipment safety requirements.
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude, responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Locations
The role will primarily cover sites across Northern and Central Malaysia, including but not limited to:
- Northern Region: Penang, Kedah, Perak, and/or
- Central Region: Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, Shah Alam, and surrounding areas
Frequent travel between work sites is expected as part of the role.
