Responsibilities
Key Roles s Responsibilities
1. Technical Pre-Sales Support
· Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements.
· Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and solution workshops (if required).
· Explain Agile Robots' products, software platforms and automation solutions to customers.
· Recommend suitable robotic products or solutions based on customer applications and production requirements.
· Understand customers' requirement and pain points and translate them into technical solution proposals.
· Prepare solution concepts and technical proposals.
· Support Proof-of-Concept (POC), feasibility studies and customer evaluations.
· Assist in system sizing, robot selection, payload calculations and application recommendations.
2. Customer Engagement
· Travel with / without the regional Business Development team across targeted countries.
· Meet potential manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, machine builders, OEMs and end users.
· Build strong technical relationships with customers' and internal engineering teams.
· Gather customer requirements and communicate them effectively to internal engineering teams.
· Act as the primary technical contact throughout the sales process.
· Provide timely responses to technical enquiries.
· Build customer confidence in Agile Robots' technologies and capabilities.
3. Solution Development
· Design and recommend robotic automation solutions for customer applications.
· Support proposal development with technical specifications and solution architecture.
· Coordinate with product management and RCD teams to validate technical feasibility.
· Prepare technical documentation, system configurations and application recommendations.
· Support costing discussions together with internal teams.
4. Distributor s Partner Development
· Support onboarding and technical enablement of distributors and system integrators.
· Conduct technical training for channel partners.
· Assist partners in developing automation proposals.
· Support distributors during customer presentations and demonstrations (if required).
· Help establish Agile Robots' technical presence within the regional partner ecosystem.
5. Demonstration s Proof-of-Concept
· Prepare and perform product demonstrations.
· Configure demonstration equipment.
· Support exhibitions, seminars and customer workshops.
· Assist customers in evaluating robotic applications.
· Coordinate demonstration activities with internal engineering teams.
6. Project s Internal Coordination
· Liaise with engineering, product management and project teams in Europe and Asia.
· Coordinate technical discussions between customers and Agile Robots headquarters.
· Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated internally.
· Support quotation preparation and project documentation.
· Assist in smooth transition from sales to project execution.
7. Market Development
· Support the creation of Agile Robots' presence across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
· Identify new application opportunities across industries.
· Collect market intelligence and competitor information.
· Recommend new market opportunities and customer segments.
· Support marketing events, exhibitions and technology seminars.
· Help establish reference customers and successful case studies.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Automation, Industrial, Computer, Manufacturing Engineering or other equivalent engineering disciplines.
· Min 2 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics or equivalent.
· Skilled in application engineering, customer-oriented technical support for regional sales, customer technical negotiations and distributor/system integrator collaboration, with knowledge of manufacturing and robotics industries.
· Candidates with experience in industrial robotics, collaborative robots, factory automation, machine vision, industrial AI, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, material handling & packaging automation, semiconductor, electronics or automotive manufacturing are highly preferred, and experience with robotic arm brands is an advantage.
· With an understanding of industrial robotics, robot programming principles and PLC & industrial automation fundamentals, basic CAD literacy is preferred, and candidates shall be capable of drafting technical proposals and solution documents.
· Possess outstanding communication, presentation, coordination and teamwork capabilities, customer awareness, independent initiative, robust problem-solving skills, strong adaptability to fast-paced environments and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
· Fluent spoken and written English.
· Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communication with headquarters and selected customers.
· Additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
· Possessavalidpassportwiththeabilitytotravelthroughouttargeted.
Pay: $5,500.00 - $10,000.00 per month
