THE JOBSCOPE

• Assist with the setup of banquet rooms, tables, chairs, tableware, and service areas.

• Welcome and assist guests during events and functions.

• Serve food and beverages according to the required service style.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently during and after the event.

• Ensure tables, service areas, and equipment are clean and properly arranged.

• Assist with buffet setup and replenishment when required.

• Respond to guest requests and provide courteous service.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and banquet team to ensure smooth service.

• Assist with event breakdown and clearing after functions.

• Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, and banquet equipment carefully.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and service standards.

• Support the team during busy periods and multiple events.

• Report any guest concerns, damaged equipment, or operational issues to the Supervisor.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Banquet Supervisor or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in banquet or F&B service is an advantage.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Friendly, positive, and service-oriented.

• Well-groomed and professional.

• Able to work well in a team.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
