Our client who is a global equipment manufacturer are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst (SAP IBP) to play a key role in driving supply chain planning transformation and business application optimization.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can bridge business requirements and SAP technology, working closely with senior stakeholders, IT teams and business users to design scalable planning solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with a high-performing Supply Chain Planning Centre of Excellence (COE).
• Partner with key business stakeholders to understand business needs and establish leading practices across planning processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions, including process design, configuration, testing and implementation.
• Contribute to business cases for large-scale systems and process improvements, presenting recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Provide input into the strategic direction and future roadmap of the relevant functional area.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional design and solution review sessions, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with global requirements.
• Configure and optimize SAP IBP and related business systems to improve business processes and support evolving business objectives.
• Work with business users to analyze requirements, identify functionality gaps and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Develop process flows, detailed solution designs and functional documentation.
• Support testing, user training and implementation activities to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
• Ensure solutions and project activities comply with established IT, governance and compliance processes.
• Stay current with developments in SAP IBP and relevant supply chain planning capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems or a related field
• At least 10 years of SAP SCM experience, particularly within supply chain planning environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP and/or SAP APO.
• Proven experience implementing SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP)
• Experience with real-time integration/interfaces between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply & Response, S&OP and other SAP IBP planning capabilities.
• Experience with SAP ERP and related business systems.
• Hands-on capability across SAP IBP design, configuration, testing and user training.
• Strong experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and solution design.
• Experience creating process flows using Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• SAP IBP certification is preferred but not a must-have.
