Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned customers, while aligning with adidas brand positioning & strategy and ensuring target achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional

• To establish strong relationships with customers’ key stakeholders thru all-rounded account management approach- from account plans to execution.
• To effectively apply sales strategies, policies and best practices of the Wholesale sales business.
• Allocate resources, negotiate, implement, and track action plans to achieve the aligned annual net sales target.
• Ensure proper brand representation and in-store execution.
• To pursue additional business opportunities and adopt a strategic mid- to long-term approach.
• Manage all interfaces:
  • By frequently addressing the requirements across functions.
  • By proactively coordinate/ facilitate meetings with other functions and accounts.
• To develop the accounts strategies:
  • Ensure quarterly updates of strategic account initiatives.
  • Share the account strategic initiatives to the management team.
  • Establish regular accounts and stores visit schedule.
• To sell-in and agree on sell-through support
  • Proactively lead the alignment of the sell in/out process across internal functions.
  • Proactively facilitate meeting/business reviews with the designated operations team and Customer Service.
  • To conduct and share sell-through information from the account.
• Controlling - 
  • Assist the credit function in credit-related issues of assigned customers.
  • To measure progress on account’s KPIs.
  • To monitor and report the market trends and competitor executions.
  • To provide realistic business plans and forecasts that are aligned with the company’s mid- to long-term plan.
• Analysis & Planning WHS Channel
  • Update and maintain records of Sell-in, Sell-out, Order execution, and OTB data for the WHS channel
  • To support and provide sales data analysis and planning related tasks for the WHS channel
  • To monitor and maintain sales data accuracy for the WHS channel

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

• Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Sales or product merchandising-related field, preferably experience in the sport or clothing industry.
• A passion for and an understanding of sports along with the desire to translate this passion into building the adidas sports market in Malaysia.
• Microsoft Office literacy, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages.
• Good planning and organization skill.
• Good understanding of Profit & Loss reports.
