Job Summary

• Lead and own the telesales channel as a strategic growth engine, driving revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and value management in alignment with overall commercial objectives. Develop and execute end-to-end telesales strategies by translating customer insights, segmentation, and marketing priorities into scalable, high-performing sales initiatives across key product segments. Optimise lead management, contact strategies, sales operations, and conversion performance through data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, and continuous process improvement. Oversee channel planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost-to-acquire efficiency while ensuring strong commercial outcomes and customer experience. Build and lead a high-performing telesales organisation, foster cross-functional and external partnerships, and drive transformation initiatives including automation, AI-assisted sales, and digital integration to future-proof the channel and enable sustainable growth
• We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic leader to own and scale our telesales channel as a key revenue engine within Base Marketing. This role is accountable for end-to-end telesales performance, driving revenue growth, improving conversion and optimising productivity across a high-volume outbound environment. You will work closely with CVM, Product and ISD teams to translate targeted customer segments and offers into strong sales outcomes, while continuously enhancing channel efficiency and cost-to-acquire. This is a critical role for a leader who can combine data-driven decisioning, strong sales execution and people leadership to deliver sustainable growth.

• Own and be fully accountable for the telesales channel as a strategic revenue engine, delivering sustainable growth across acquisition, retention, and value management in alignment with overall Marketing and commercial objectives.
• Define, shape, and lead the end-to-end telesales strategy, translating broader Marketing and CVM priorities into scalable sales motions that accelerate growth across key segments (e.g. Prepaid to Postpaid, device, broadband, sharelines, retention).
• Orchestrate the translation of customer segmentation, value propositions, and campaigns into high-impact, scalable outbound sales execution, ensuring consistency, speed-to-market, and optimal customer experience.
• Lead end-to-end optimisation of lead management, contact strategy, and sales operating model, driving step-change improvements in conversion, revenue yield, and customer lifetime value.
• Champion a data-driven performance culture by leveraging advanced analytics and insights to continuously optimise conversion funnels, productivity, and cost efficiency across the channel.
• Own and govern channel planning, including target setting, demand forecasting, and budget management, ensuring robust assumptions, disciplined tracking, and alignment with business growth ambitions.
• Build and lead a high-performing telesales organisation, strengthening leadership bench, capability development, and performance management to drive a strong, accountable, and results-oriented culture.
• Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders (CVM, Marketing, Product, Device, ISD) and external partners (e.g. vendors, agencies), influencing priorities, aligning on trade-offs, and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of commercial outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end cost-to-acquire optimisation, balancing growth and efficiency by improving cost per conversion, vendor performance, and incentive effectiveness while sustaining revenue quality.
• Lead transformation and innovation initiatives across the telesales ecosystem (e.g. automation, dialer optimisation, AI-assisted sales, digital integration), positioning the channel as a future-ready and scalable growth platform.

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telesales, outbound sales or contact centre environments, preferably in telco or similar high-volume industries
• Proven track record in owning channel performance and delivering revenue growth
• Experience in CVM-driven sales environments, including targeted campaigns and lifecycle monetisation
• Experience in leading and scaling teams through managers/team leads, driving productivity and operational efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment to achieve business outcomes
• Strong commercial ownership with ability to drive revenue growth and channel performance
• Ability to translate strategy into execution at scale
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Good analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

About You
