Project Engineer – M&E Construction
- $2,500 – $3,000 Basic + Variable Bonus
- 5.5-day work week, Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm & Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
- MacPherson Office & Tuas Site - Must be comfortable travelling to the Tuas site on a weekly basis and working in a site environment.
A growing engineering and construction company specialising in M&E project works and site coordination, supporting clients and project teams in delivering quality construction solutions. We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support M&E project execution, site coordination and technical matters.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the Site / Project Manager in managing M&E project activities and site coordination
- Monitor project progress and ensure assigned works are completed on schedule
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Review M&E drawings, specifications and technical submissions
- Coordinate drawings, material submissions and site technical matters
- Follow up on M&E installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and method statements
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, RFIs, inspection records and other project-related documents
- Ensure works comply with workplace safety requirements and project specifications
- Support the Project Manager with other project-related tasks when required
What We’re Looking For
- Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Possess BCSS / WSHMCI certification
- 1–2 years of relevant M&E construction experience in M&E systems, installation procedures and construction practices
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIM tools
- Comfortable liaising with contractors, site workers and utility agencies
- Must be comfortable working on-site and travelling between locations
