About the Role

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions. You’ll work closely with software development teams to plan and execute testing activities, identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve quality assurance processes.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong experience in automated functional testing, API testing, and manual testing, along with the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute manual and automated tests, including functional and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of software deliverables.
• Perform API integration testing and basic API performance and stress testing.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other technical stakeholders to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Monitor and analyze testing and code quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through peer reviews, feedback, and quality analysis.
• Help define, improve, and maintain QA processes, testing standards, and best practices within Agile development teams.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to other team members.
• Take ownership of critical quality initiatives and support technical decision-making related to software quality.
• Ensure continuity of testing activities and provide technical leadership when required.
• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation related to testing activities and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Solid experience in automated functional testing and API integration testing.
• Experience with manual software testing.
• Basic understanding of API performance and stress testing.
• Working knowledge of Node.js.
• Experience working in collaborative, Agile software development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and provide technical leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Advanced to fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and produce and understand technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience defining or improving QA processes, standards, and best practices within Agile teams.
