Role Description This on-site iOS Application Developer role is based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The developer will design, build, and maintain native iOS applications, collaborating with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-performing, user-friendly mobile experiences. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, integrating APIs and backend services, writing clean and testable code, and optimizing applications for performance and reliability. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and ensuring apps follow platform guidelines and security best practices. The developer will contribute to continuous improvement by staying updated on iOS and AI-related technologies and recommending enhancements to existing products.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Swift (and optionally Objective-C) for native iOS development, including experience with Xcode and iOS SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services or cloud platforms.
• Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER, and experience with modular, maintainable code design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and debugging tools to ensure app stability and quality.
• Awareness of App Store submission processes, app signing, provisioning profiles, and release management.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document technical decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on performance, security, and user experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with AI/ML integration, data-driven features, or interest in learning AI-related technologies is a plus.
