Overview
The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising the security team and ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, property, and assets within the hotel/residence premises. The role also ensures that security procedures and company policies are properly followed.

THE JOBSCOPE
  • Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the security team.
  • Ensure adequate security coverage across the property, including entrances, exits, public areas, car parks, and restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular patrols and security inspections.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other security systems.
  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities are properly recorded and reported.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, theft, accidents, and other security-related matters.
  • Assist in handling emergency situations, including fire evacuation and other crisis situations.
  • Conduct briefing and daily roll calls for security officers.
  • Prepare duty rosters and ensure proper manpower deployment.
  • Ensure security officers comply with grooming, discipline, and service standards.
  • Liaise with the Police, BOMBA, medical services, contractors, and other relevant authorities when required.
  • Monitor and control access to the property, including staff, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare reports for management.
  • Conduct regular checks on security equipment and report any defects or issues.
  • Ensure lost and found items are properly handled and recorded.
  • Assist management in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in security operations, preferably in a hotel, residence, commercial building, or hospitality environment.
  • Good knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and incident handling.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage a team.
  • Physically fit and able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
