About the Role

Our client, a well-established company in the environmental and water analysis industry, is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Technician to perform installation, preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of water treatment and environmental monitoring equipment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy technical and field-based work, possess good mechanical or electrical aptitude, and are committed to delivering reliable service while ensuring equipment operates at optimum performance and complies with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure water analysis instruments and monitoring systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and calibration of water analysis equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical issues related to equipment performance.
• Conduct on-site servicing and emergency breakdown support when required.
• Perform functional testing to ensure equipment accuracy and optimal performance.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation upon completion of each job.
• Provide basic operational training and technical guidance to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Technical Support teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain service tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and company assets in good working condition.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Participate in continuous technical training to remain updated on new products, technologies, and servicing techniques.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and initiative to learn
• Must be committed towards job which has been assigned
• Must be able to interact effectively at all levels.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Preferably possess a car (transport allowance will be given)
• Willing to travelt

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
