Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to support the finance operations of our multi-outlet restaurant business. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining effective accounting controls. The ideal candidate possesses strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams are essential to support the company's financial performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Verify and process supplier and vendor invoices while ensuring the accuracy of amounts and compliance with company policies, and prepare payments accordingly.
  • Data Entry: Record and reconcile financial transactions, which include vendor invoices, supplier payments, employee reimbursements, and customer receipts.
  • Accounting Support: Assist with daily accounting functions, including maintaining ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly assist in reconciling the company’s bank statements with accounting records.
  • Reporting (Month-End and Year-End Closing): Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on monthly basis, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Inventory and Costing Support: Help track inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies in stock balances in collaboration with outlet managers.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing for external audits and respond to the auditor’s questions.
  • Budget Support: Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Cash Flow Support: Assist in monitoring cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • SST submission: Handle monthly SST submission.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Advanced Diploma /Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy /Professional qualified with ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry is preferably for this position.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with POS systems and their integration with financial reporting is an advantage.
  • Responsible, meticulous, analytical and possess a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Possess mature personality, good communication skill and able to work with all levels of staff in the organization.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
