Job Summary
We are looking for an Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling full sets of accounts and be familiar with daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Handle invoices, payments, receipts and other accounting transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and assist with monthly closing.
• Assist in payroll-related accounting matters and statutory contributions when required.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents and relevant parties.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Must have experience handling full sets of accounts.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently, accurately and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Working Days: Monday – Friday
Location: Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
