Currently we are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history taking, physical examinations, and clinical evaluations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based medical care within the approved scope of practice and established clinical guidelines.
- Assist Specialist Consultants during consultations, diagnostic procedures, minor surgeries, and other clinical interventions.
- Perform emergency assessment, triage, and immediate patient stabilisation to ensure timely and appropriate medical care.
- Administer medications, intravenous (IV) therapy, injections, wound care, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor patients' conditions, evaluate treatment progress, and promptly escalate any changes requiring medical attention.
- Perform clinical procedures such as ECG, venepuncture, specimen collection, catheterisation, nebulisation, and wound dressing in accordance with clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient documentation while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with Specialist Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Healthcare Professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred, and high-quality healthcare services.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention and control, clinical governance standards, and actively participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in a hospital, specialist medical centre, emergency department, or acute healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in specialist outpatient services, inpatient care, operating theatre, emergency medicine, or ambulatory care is highly desirable.
- Fresh graduates with excellent academic achievements, strong clinical competencies, and a valid APC may be considered.
- Strong competency in clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and medical management.
- Proficient in emergency response, patient stabilisation, and clinical decision-making.
- Competent in performing approved clinical procedures and assisting during medical interventions.
- Sound knowledge of infection prevention and control, medication safety, and patient safety standards.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and digital healthcare documentation.
- Good understanding of Malaysian healthcare legislation, Ministry of Health guidelines, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Possession of a valid driving licence and access to personal transportation is an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
