Duties:

• Conceptualize, design, and deliver original character concepts, background art, UI elements, and illustrations that align with the game's artistic style, brand identity, and project requirements.
• Lead art production for outsourcing clients by interpreting their briefs, creating mood boards, style guides, and delivering high-quality artwork on time.
• Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure that all visual assets support gameplay mechanics, user experience, and overall game narrative.
• Manage the entire IP registration process for all original creative assets, ensuring that ownership rights are fully protected and registered according to industry standards.
• Prepare, file, and oversee copyright registrations, trademark applications, and design patents for game characters, art assets, branded elements with relevant authorities to secure legal protection.
• Review and approve all derivative products, merchandise, and in-game assets to ensure they have the necessary copyright, trademark, and IP clearances before release.
• Stay updated on IP laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and to optimize IP management strategies.
• Monitor evolving IP legislation, platform policies, and emerging legal trends in AI-generated content, NFT integrations, and user-generated skins, proactively updating internal workflows to mitigate risk and streamline compliance.
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate in character design, art style, and IP exploitation opportunities within the mobile gaming space.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Arts, Design, Marketing, or a related creative field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in design, with a strong background in game art, character design, or merchandise illustration preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and familiarity with at least one 3D tool (Blender, Maya, or similar).
• Practical experience with copyright registration, trademark applications, or intellectual property management will be a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
