About the Role
Wiki Labs is seeking a skilled OpenShift L2 System Engineer to join our dynamic technical delivery team. You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade container platforms, helping our corporate clients transition smoothly from legacy stacks (such as VMware) to Red Hat OpenShift.
Key Responsibilities
- Cluster Deployment & Operations: Deploy, configure, and scale Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters using IPI/UPI methods across on-premise and hybrid environments.
- Virtualization & Workload Migration: Assist clients in migrating traditional virtual machines (VMs) to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and modern containerized setups.
- Automation & Hardening: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using Ansible and scripts to drive configuration hardening and reduce downtime.
- Observability & Diagnostics: Utilize monitoring toolsets (Prometheus, Grafana) and oc CLI for cluster health checks, log analysis, and proactive incident management.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines and assist financial/government clients in maintaining audit readiness.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in Linux system administration (RHEL) and container orchestration.
- Core Skills: Solid practical knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container networking/storage.
- Automation Tools: Proficient with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform or Terraform.
- Mindset: Agile, client-focused, and eager to solve complex infrastructure challenges with speed and accuracy.
- Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or related Kubernetes certifications is a distinct advantage.
