What this job involves:
The Mobile Technician is a field-based technical professional responsible for delivering responsive maintenance, repair, and overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) services across multiple client sites including offices, residences, and retail branches. This role requires flexibility, technical versatility, and excellent customer service skills to address ad hoc incidents and scheduled maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio of properties.
Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance & Incident Response
- Execute scheduled PPM activities across all assigned sites in accordance with maintenance schedules and compliance requirements.
- Complete and submit accurate PPM documentation, test certificates, and compliance records.
- Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance activities are completed within required timeframes.
- Prioritize and manage multiple reactive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide immediate temporary solutions when permanent repairs require specialist intervention or parts procurement.
- Identify and report safety hazards, near misses, and compliance concerns immediately and via Corrigo (CMMS).
Multi-Site Operations and After-Hours Support
- Travel regularly between multiple sites including offices, residential properties, and retail branches as assigned by the WE&O Manager or Head of Operations..
- Respond promptly to ad hoc maintenance requests, incidents, and service calls across assigned sites inclusive of the client's headquarters, branch network, residences, and holiday homes.
- Assess emergency situations, implement immediate safety measures, and coordinate specialist support when required.
- Maintain communication with the facilities management team and clients during out-of-hours incidents.
- Perform emergency callouts during after-hours periods, nights, and weekends as per the established on-call rotation schedule provided by the WE&O Manager or Head of Operations.
Health & Safety
- Ensure all safety procedures are maintained at all times.
- Support incident investigation and reporting; escalating incidents according to the Incident Severity Matrix.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Trade qualification or equivalent technical certification in a relevant discipline (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or building services)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in building maintenance or facilities management
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record as role is field-based role requiring daily travel to multiple sites outside headquarters
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple sites or in a mobile service capacity
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across multiple building systems
- Proficiency with mobile technology, CMMS platforms, and digital reporting tools
- Professional proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English is preferred for stakeholder management
