We work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver practical, tailored solutions to strengthen governance, manage risks, enhance internal controls, and support sustainable business practices. As a growing team, we offer exposure to a broad range of client engagements across different industries and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to ESG and sustainability advisory engagements, including sustainability risk assessments, ESG strategy development, sustainability data verification, and ESG performance assessments.
- Prepare sustainability statements in accordance with applicable regulations, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Support clients in understanding and implementing applicable ESG and sustainability reporting requirements, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct research and analyse ESG-related regulations, standards, guidelines, and industry developments to support client engagements.
- Develop and enhance ESG-related policies, procedures, frameworks, and processes to strengthen sustainability governance and performance.
- Prepare workshop materials and facilitate workshops for clients and internal stakeholders, as required.
- Take ownership of assigned ESG, sustainability, audit, risk management, and advisory engagements, ensuring timely and quality delivery with minimal supervision.
- Stay abreast of developments in ESG, sustainability reporting, internal audit standards, and regulatory requirements, and apply relevant developments effectively across engagements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk registers, control frameworks, and risk mitigation plans covering ESG, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Develop and enhance internal control frameworks to address financial, operational, sustainability, and compliance risks.
- Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and SOPs to strengthen governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Execute risk-based internal audits and internal control engagements covering operational, financial, and compliance areas, and prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive audit reports.
- Identify and assess internal control deficiencies, provide practical recommendations for improvement, and monitor the implementation of agreed recommendations to support continuous improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as required by Management.
Requirements
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in ESG and sustainability, with a good understanding of sustainability concepts, ESG risks, and sustainability reporting.
- Familiarity with ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks, standards, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
- Prior internship or exposure to ESG, sustainability initiatives, internal audit, risk advisory, or compliance-related work will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with a keen interest in ESG, sustainability, governance, and risk management are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to conduct research, interpret regulations and standards, and translate findings into clear and practical recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess information and identify practical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work with and analyse data.
- Professional qualifications or relevant certifications in sustainability, ESG, accounting, internal audit, risk management, or related fields will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and assignments, where required.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, both spoken and written, is highly preferred, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.
