Region Food Industries Hiring! Full Time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,200 - Ricebowl

1. Operate and monitor pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, filters, digesters, sludge dewatering equipment, and other WWTP systems.

2. Adjust process controls to maintain optimal performance (e.g., aeration rates, chemical dosing, flow rates).

3. Perform routine start‑up and shut‑down procedures for plant equipment.

4. Collect wastewater, sludge, and effluent samples for laboratory analysis.

5. Conduct in‑house testing such as COD, pH, DO, turbidity, MLSS, residual chlorine, etc.

6. Record and report test results, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

7. Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

8. Perform daily checks and minor maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.

9. Identify abnormal plant conditions and take corrective action or report to supervisor.

10. Clean tanks, screens, basins, pipes, and other treatment units when required.

11. Support preventive maintenance programs with the engineering team.

12. Maintain cleanliness of plant facilities, chemical storage areas, and equipment.

13. Ensure proper use of PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.

14. Handle chemicals following safety protocols and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).

15. Participate in safety drills, toolbox meetings, and emergency response activities.

16. Assist in scheduled waste management including proper packaging, labeling, storing, etc

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,200.00 per month

Education:

• STM/STPM (Preferred)

Experience:

• wastewater treatment plant operation: 2 years (Preferred)
