E&I Planner

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced E&I Planner to support our Electrical & Instrumentation project activities. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and coordinating E&I works to ensure activities are completed safely and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update E&I work schedules and plans.
• Develop work packages, job plans and required manpower resources.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, HSE and site teams.
• Monitor daily and weekly work progress against the project schedule.
• Prepare progress reports and planning updates.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for E&I activities.
• Track material availability and highlight potential delays.
• Support preparation of look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.
• Review drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Attend planning and coordination meetings with project teams and clients.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with project requirements and HSE standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in E&I planning, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Construction projects.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling is an advantage.
• Familiar with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
• Good knowledge of E&I construction activities and work sequence.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to be based in Johor Bahru / project site.
