Role Description This is a contract, on-site Manual Test Engineer role based in Bayan Lepas. The Manual Test Engineer will design, prepare, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts aligned with functional and non-functional requirements. The role involves executing manual tests, documenting results, logging defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. The engineer will perform functional testing, regression testing, and sanity checks, as well as participate in test planning, reviews, and status reporting. The position also requires adherence to established quality processes and continuous improvement of test coverage and testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, with a focus on structured quality processes and defect management.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Test Execution, including manual execution, result analysis, and test reporting.
• Candidates should possess the ability to design and maintain clear, reusable Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Functional Testing, including regression, integration, and system-level verification.
• Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and thorough documentation practices.
• Candidates should have familiarity with test management tools and issue-tracking systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with experience in product or software testing environments.
• Experience in embedded systems, regulated industries, or complex engineering domains is an advantage, and a willingness to work on-site in Bayan Lepas is required.
• Open for fresh graduates. Relevant testing experience is a plus!
