Piping & Layout Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Lead Piping & Layout engineering activities from Conceptual Studies, Engineering Definition, FEED, through Detailed Design phases.

Develop and manage Mechanical Design Basis, Topsides Functional Specifications, and Scopes of Work for engineering services.

Oversee the preparation of engineering deliverables, including calculations, technical studies, reports, drawings, material requisitions, and package specifications.

Review and provide technical feedback on engineering contractor deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.

Identify design improvements, manage technical interfaces, and support project execution from concept to delivery.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to engineering teams while promoting continuous capability development.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Minimum 15 years of experience in Piping & Layout Engineering

At least 10 years in a Senior or Lead Engineering role

Strong experience in offshore facilities and FPSO projects

Exposure to Conceptual Studies, FEED, and Detailed Design Engineering

Registered with BEM or an equivalent recognized engineering body

Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be an added advantage
