Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Penang, Malaysia, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees day-to-day site operations, including coordinating construction and installation activities related to cleanroom interiors, HVAC, process utilities, and electrical works. Responsibilities include supervising site teams, monitoring work progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements, and resolving on-site issues in collaboration with project managers and engineers. The Site Supervisor reviews technical drawings, organizes materials and equipment, liaises with clients and subcontractors, and prepares regular site reports and updates. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
Qualifications

• Ability to supervise construction and installation activities for cleanroom interiors, HVAC systems, process utilities, and electrical works, ensuring alignment with project plans and standards.
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and MEP-related documentation.
• Experience with site coordination, resource planning, and daily work scheduling for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance with relevant local regulations and industry standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Proven ability to prepare concise progress reports, maintain project documentation, and use basic office and project management software.
• Prior experience as a site supervisor or in a similar role within construction, MEP, HVAC, or cleanroom projects is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field is preferred; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
