Atomic Recruitment SEA Hiring! Full Time Service Engineer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

We're looking for a Service Engineer to join a global precision measurement and quality solutions provider, supporting field service operations across Penang and the surrounding Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

What You'll be Doing

• Perform field maintenance, calibration, and repair on precision measurement equipment, e.g., CMM, CT/computed tomography systems and optical microsystems
• Support installation, commissioning, and warranty across product lines.
• Manage customer service requests and job documentation (CCT, SVO, SVOC, CPO) in a timely manner for billing and processing.
• Prepare calibration reports and support quotation generation with parts and labour costs.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, maintain calibration standards, and recommend service tools and repair part stocking.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Finance, and internal teams to support service delivery and the sales process.
• Mentor junior engineers and support local/regional exhibitions and seminars.
• Promote services and new service offerings to customers.
• Continuously build technical knowledge and work towards ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (using ISO 10360 methodology) for on-site calibration services.

What You Should Have

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years' experience in field service equipment repair and maintenance, ideally within precision measurement, QA/QC, automotive, aerospace, machinery, or electronics industries
• Strong customer service acumen with good communication skills
• Analytical, solutions-focused mindset
• Independent and also a team player
• Good spoken and written English, Mandarin speaking a plus
