About the Roles

Join an M&E consultancy firm as an Electrical Design Engineer based in Paya Lebar, East, on a permanent role with a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This role offers a basic salary with variable bonus, providing an opportunity to contribute to electrical building services design while working closely with project stakeholders across consultancy and construction environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build positive working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Follow internal procedures, systems, and established work processes.
• Apply M&E design concepts and communicate engineering solutions clearly.
• Assist in the design, coordination, and review of electrical building services systems.
• Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, schedules, and technical reports.
• Carry out electrical calculations using relevant engineering software.
• Coordinate architectural, electrical, and other service drawings and specifications to support proper design integration.
• Conduct investigations, technical reviews, and coordination work for ongoing and completed projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities, and internal teams on design and technical matters.
• Support authority submissions, technical documentation, and project coordination when required.
• Assist senior engineers in ensuring deliverables meet project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Guide students, interns, and junior engineers when required while maintaining professional work standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in an M&E consultancy firm, including exposure to ACMV, fire, or hydraulic services design.
• Experience coordinating ACMV, fire protection, or hydraulic services within an M&E consultancy environment will be an advantage.
• Project execution experience as a contractor will be considered.
• Experience in Energy Storage Systems, sustainability, resource conservation, or renewable energy will be an advantage.
