XSD International Paper Hiring! Full Time Senior Account Executive in Kedah - Ricebowl

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join XSD International Paper at our Kulim Kedah factory. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the financial management and reporting operations of our organisation. As Senior Accountant, you will oversee the accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role is fundamental to supporting the strategic financial decision-making across the company and maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.

Job Scope :

• Lead the accounting department and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity across the function.

• Prepare and review the full set of accounts and financial statements in accordance with Malaysian GAAP (MPERS/MFRS), and ensure timely submission of all statutory financial reports to the relevant regulatory and government authorities.

• Manage full tax compliance in Malaysia, including corporate income tax, SST, and withholding tax obligations, while liaising with tax authorities and advisors as required.

• Optimize and enhance the ERP system to support the accounting team's efficiency and reporting capabilities. Design, implement, and strengthen internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline accounting workflows and drive continuous process improvement.

• Oversee internal and external financial audit processes, ensuring full compliance and serving as the primary liaison with auditors.

• Undertake other duties and ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

Requirements :

• Degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Experiences in ERP implementation is a must.

• Excellent skill in Microsoft Office Excel

• Strong ability to work independently under tight deadlines

• Detailed and meticulous 

• Able to communicate effectively

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

• Strong initiative to drive results

• No less than 5 years’ solid working experiences in Finance and accounting field.

• Mandarin speaking candidates will be added as an advantages.
