About the Role

Letitu Corp. is a Korea-based AI education technology company developing products that help students, schools, and institutions make better academic and career decisions.

Our flagship platform, The Pond, is evolving into an AI-powered Decision Intelligence platform connecting the journey from K-12 education to university, career pathways, and employment.

TeXphere Sdn. Bhd. is Letitu’s Malaysia-based strategic venture and market platform, supporting technology development, education solutions, partnerships, and international expansion across Southeast Asia and beyond.

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical product fluency to join the Letitu HQ Product Team from Malaysia.

This is not a learning-centre operations role. You will work directly with product, engineering, design, education, and business teams to define and deliver a global AI/SaaS product.

What You’ll Do

• Own product initiatives from problem definition and requirements through development, launch, feedback, and iteration.
• Translate business, school, counsellor, student, and partner needs into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and priorities.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and business teams to align scope, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Contribute to the product roadmap for The Pond, including academic planning, career pathways, AI-assisted decision-making, school dashboards, and future university/employment use cases.
• Conduct user and market research and identify product opportunities across Malaysia, Korea, and international markets.
• Create detailed PRDs, product specifications, user flows, functional requirements, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
• Define frontend/backend interactions, API requirements, data inputs and outputs, validation rules, permissions, and error states with engineering teams.
• Review API documentation and technical designs, identify dependencies, and surface product risks before development begins.
• Work with engineering on bug triage, reproduction steps, root-cause context, and release prioritisation.
• Coordinate QA/UAT, release readiness, and post-launch improvements.
• Define and monitor product success metrics, user behaviour, and adoption signals.
• Partner with Malaysia teams on localisation and B2B/B2G requirements while maintaining a scalable global product architecture.
• Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Project Management, Business Analysis, UX/Product Strategy, or a related technology role.
• Experience working with software products, SaaS platforms, web/mobile applications, or technology-enabled services.
• Experience collaborating directly with software engineers.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into structured product requirements, user flows, system behaviours, priorities, and actionable development tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• High ownership, strong follow-through, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the broader product and business objectives.
• Working knowledge of modern web application architecture and how frontend, backend, databases, and third-party services interact.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods/status codes, authentication, authorisation, and basic integration flows.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly enough for engineers to estimate, implement, test, and release.
• Comfortable using technical and data evidence to investigate product issues.
• Based in Malaysia or able to work in Malaysia.

Technical Skills

You do not need to be a full-time developer, but you should be technically comfortable enough to work meaningfully with engineers.

You should be able to:

• Read and understand API specifications and request/response structures.
• Understand frontend, backend, database, and integration dependencies.
• Think through success, loading, empty, and error states.
• Understand basic database concepts such as entities, relationships, fields, permissions, and data quality.
• Use tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, browser developer tools, or SQL at a basic level.
• Understand technical debt, scalability, dependencies, and engineering trade-offs.
• Define clear requirements for AI-enabled features, including inputs, outputs, guardrails, evaluation criteria, and fallback behaviour.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EdTech, AI, SaaS, HRTech, career/college planning, or decision-support products.
• Experience with product tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion, Confluence, Figma, FigJam, or Miro.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, SQL clients, browser developer tools, GitHub/GitLab, or similar tools.
• Experience launching or localising products across multiple countries or user segments.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, estimation, backlog management, QA/UAT, version control, CI/CD, and software release processes.
• Experience with AI/LLM-enabled products, recommendation systems, RAG/search, personalisation, prompt-driven workflows, or AI API integrations.
• Korean language ability is an advantage but not required.

Backend: Java / Spring Boot

APIs & Integrations: REST APIs, JSON, authentication/authorisation, and third-party services

AI Direction: LLM-enabled Counsellor Assistant, student profiling, recommendation/personalisation, and Decision Intelligence
