Responsibilities
Technical Application Executive – Contamination Control
Location: Penang
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Home-Based
Coverage: Northern Malaysia, with ad hoc assignments nationwide
The Role
We are looking for an energetic and technically minded individual to support our Sales Managers and customers in contamination control applications.
This is a customer-facing role combining technical knowledge, problem solving and presentation skills. You will accompany Sales Managers to customer meetings, deliver technical presentations, understand customers' technical challenges and help recommend appropriate contamination-control solutions.
The position is primarily home-based in Penang, with regular travel to customer sites across Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Perak. Occasional travel to other parts of Malaysia and periodic reporting to Head Office will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany Sales Managers for customer visits, technical meetings and presentations.
- Provide technical and application support on contamination-control products and solutions.
- Understand customers' processes, contamination risks and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot customer application issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical training and product trials.
- Support customer evaluations, qualification and implementation of products.
- Prepare technical recommendations, reports and product comparisons.
- Liaise with manufacturers and principals on technical enquiries.
- Support Sales Managers in developing solutions for key accounts and new applications.
- Continuously build knowledge in contamination control and the industries we serve.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Preferably 1–3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in QA, QC, Validation, Production or other technical functions.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, semiconductor, electronics or other regulated manufacturing sectors will be an advantage.
- Strong fresh graduates with relevant industrial exposure may also be considered.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and conversant in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Knowledge of GMP, contamination control, cleaning and disinfection, microbiology, sterility assurance, filtration or manufacturing quality systems would be advantageous. Product and application training will be provided.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid, field-based role. The successful candidate will primarily work from home in Penang and travel regularly for customer meetings, technical support and joint visits with Sales Managers.
Attendance at the company's Head Office will be required periodically for meetings, training and other business needs.
