Job Summary

You will manage the frontline counter, handle communications, update student records, assist with school events, and provide first-aid care to students, ensuring smooth school office operations and student welfare.

Responsibilities

• Manage the frontline counter to greet visitors and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
• Handle incoming phone calls and process mail to support effective communication within the school
• Update and maintain accurate student records and class attendance to ensure data integrity
• Assist with organizing and supporting school events and activities based on operational needs
• Attend to unwell or injured students by administering first-aid promptly and safely
• Monitor and maintain office and first-aid supplies, including managing staff loans of first-aid kits
• Support general administrative tasks and perform additional duties assigned by the school

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED to provide emergency medical care

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification or equivalent to support administrative responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to perform office tasks efficiently
• Experience in reception and general administration, preferably in a school setting, to handle school-specific processes

Other Information

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
