Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Event Marketing | Provide Training role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing events, including logistics, scheduling, and on-site setup. The Junior Event Marketing team member will assist in promoting events through various channels, preparing marketing materials, and managing event-related administrative tasks. This role also includes providing basic training and guidance to event participants or clients on event processes, tools, or materials. The position requires close collaboration with senior marketing staff and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth event delivery and a positive participant experience.

Qualifications

  • Foundational event coordination skills, including organizing schedules, managing logistics, and supporting on-site operations.
  • Basic marketing knowledge, with an interest in event marketing, campaign execution, and audience engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, participants, and internal teams.
  • Ability to deliver simple training or briefings, explain processes clearly, and respond to participant questions.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Comfort using common office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with digital marketing or CRM tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and support events that may occasionally occur outside standard office hours.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn, take direction, and grow within event marketing and training.
