Dental Nurse Assistant

Job Description

· Assist dentists during dental consultations and all type of procedures.

· Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after each procedure.

· Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control protocols.

· Assist in taking and processing dental radiographs (where applicable and with relevant certification).

· Monitor and replenish dental supplies and assist with inventory management.

· Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.

· Support patient care by ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.

· Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and other administrative duties when required.

· Perform other duties assigned by the management to support the smooth operation of the clinic.

Requirements

· Candidate should possess at least GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting.

· Experience in oral surgery preparation and assisting is preferred but not compulsory.

· Relevant dental assisting qualification is preferred.

· Prior experience as a Dental Nurse/Assistant is an advantage; candidates without experience but with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

· Able to work independently as well as in a team.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.

· Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.

· Willing to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

· Proficient in basic computer skills.

· Able to work on Saturdays (9am - 1pm).
