Lead Technical Excellence on a Major Data Centre Project

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Electrical) to oversee construction quality, compliance, and project execution for a large-scale data centre development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities on-site.
• Monitor electrical construction works for compliance with specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review contractor deliverables, methodologies, and technical submissions.
• Manage quality-related issues and oversee corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and project documentation.
• Participate in progress, technical, and coordination meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and project stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer or Graduate Engineer with BEM.
• Minimum 10 years of construction project experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, QA/QC processes, and site supervision.
• Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
