About KinovaWorks

KinovaWorks is building an AI-powered lead-intelligence and follow-up platform for Malaysian real estate professionals.

The product helps agents organise enquiries, prioritise leads, understand the signals behind each priority and know what action to take next. It also gives team leaders visibility over pipelines, follow-ups and team activity.

We have developed a working product prototype and conducted direct validation interviews with property agency owners, managers and team leaders across Sabah. We are now preparing the product for beta testing and early commercial launch.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on product engineer who can help transform our prototype into a stable, intuitive and mobile-first product.

You will work closely with our Technology & Product Co-Founder, who currently oversees the backend, APIs and broader technical architecture.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and improving the mobile-responsive user experience
• Building frontend features for the agent and team-leader dashboards
• Implementing account registration, authentication and onboarding flows
• Developing reminders, notifications and calendar-related features
• Integrating frontend features with existing APIs and databases
• Testing, debugging and improving product reliability
• Helping prepare the product for beta users and future scale
• Documenting technical decisions and maintaining readable code
• Supporting future mobile-app development if validated by users

Ideal Technical Background

• Experience with React, Next.js or a comparable frontend framework
• Experience with Flutter or React Native is strongly preferred
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with Supabase, PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Familiarity with authentication, permissions and multi-user applications
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first product development
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment
• Strong communication and willingness to collaborate with an existing technical founder

Useful, But Not Essential

• Experience building SaaS or CRM products
• Experience with calendar or notification systems
• Experience with AI-powered product features
• Understanding of WhatsApp Business APIs or BSP integrations
• Product-design or UI/UX capability
• Previous startup experience

What We Are Looking For

We care more about evidence that you can build, learn and deliver than formal qualifications.

You should be comfortable working with uncertainty, communicating progress clearly and taking responsibility for features from planning through deployment.

Engagement Structure

The selected candidate will initially complete a four-week paid or mutually agreed trial engagement with defined deliverables.

A longer-term founding role and potential future equity pathway may be discussed after the trial based on contribution, commitment, working relationship and team agreement. Any future equity would be subject to incorporation, vesting and formal legal documentation.
