About The Opportunity

A growing regional investment organisation is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to strengthen its financial planning and business partnering capabilities. This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited for someone who enjoys building processes, driving commercial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Develop and enhance financial models covering revenue, operating expenses and cost allocation methodologies.
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and prior periods, identifying key trends and business drivers.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards and executive presentations.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Partner closely with finance and business leaders to improve financial transparency across the organisation.
  • Translate financial information into practical commercial insights for stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities together with the accounting team.
  • Ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
  • Participate in finance system implementation, testing and optimisation projects.
  • Consolidate and reconcile information from multiple data sources to improve reporting quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 12–15 years of FP&A experience, preferably within financial services, investment management or alternative investments.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial finance capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong business partnering and presentation skills.
  • Experience building new reporting processes or improving FP&A functions would be highly regarded.
