SJ Group Hiring! Full Time Resident Engineer (Building) in - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Supervise building works for HDB residential projects in accordance with approved drawings, HDB specifications, and the Building Control Act and relevant regulations.
• Manage Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) in the supervision of architectural, structural, M&E coordination, and landscape works within HDB building developments.
• Ensure construction works comply with HDB quality standards, safety requirements, approved procedures, and project timelines.
• Maintain proper site records, monitor construction progress, and attend site coordination and technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and HDB representatives.
• Review and validate site documentation including method statements, shop drawings, inspection records, overtime requisitions, and temporary works where applicable.
• Carry out inspections for materials, workmanship, and site tests to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor’s site management, workmanship quality, and coordination of trades to ensure smooth building construction progress.
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and construction issues, and ensure timely rectification with proper follow-up inspections.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, QP, HDB representatives, and QA/QC teams to ensure quality delivery of building works.
• Support TOP inspection, defect management, and handover processes for HDB residential building projects.

Requirement

• sDegree in Civil/Structural Engineerin
• gRegistered with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) as Resident Engineer
• .Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• .Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and government stakeholders
